Thrive Abroad is a small group for people moving to, or already living in, Vietnam. This page explains what we collect when you fill in our form, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Thrive Abroad is run by a team at Sky Mavis. You can reach us at andrew@thriveabroad.org about anything on this page.
What we collect
When you fill in the form, we collect:
- your email address
- your first name, if you give it
- when you land (or landed) in Vietnam, how long you're staying, and your rough daily budget
We also record which link or ad brought you to the page.
The site uses the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta that someone visited the page or sent the form, so we can see which ads work. We don't send Meta your email, your name or your answers.
Why we collect it
- To send you what you signed up for, and to put you in the right group for your stay
- To email you about Thrive Abroad. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which ads and pages work
We don't sell your details.
Who else sees it
Your answers are stored in Google Sheets, and our email goes through Google. Meta receives the visit and sign-up signals described above. Nobody else gets your details, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as Thrive Abroad runs, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
What you can ask us
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email andrew@thriveabroad.org and we'll do it.
Changes
If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top.
